Job Description

The DOD Administrator/Project Manager acts as a liaison between Computrition and any existing and/or new Department of Defense entities. This position includes the creation/completion of the Technical Proposal included in all DOD contracts, creation and signoff of the Statement of Work, and acts as the Project Manager working with the R&D team assuring that all requirements are met and the product releases are delivered on time. The position also provides support for the sales, marketing, professional services and application support teams to ensure that all teams revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

This position reports to the Vice President of Product Management.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The DOD Administrator/Project Manager is expected to:

  • Work with the assigned DOD Point of Contact to establish all requirements/scope for the projects
  • Create the Technical Proposal included with all DOD contract project submissions
  • Create the Statement of Work(s) detailing all requirements for each project
  • Create and maintain the Project Backlog in Azure DevOps containing the feature requirements in the Statement of Work and corresponding business justification
  • Create Features/User Stories and work with the development team to create accurate User Acceptance Criteria based on the Statement of Work requirements
  • Be an expert on the application solutions developed
  • Organize, lead, and document all development status meetings with the DOD
  • Organize and conduct all interim product demos with the DOD stakeholders as development proceeds
  • Work with the Technical Writer to create/maintain all user documentation and computer-based training for each project
  • Brief and train the Customer Care and Professional Services teams on all new releases, enhancements, and new DOD products.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with the process required for Department of Defense Contracts
  • Experience as a Software Product/Project Manager preferred
  • Experience in a foodservice, diet office and/or retail operations a plus
  • Experience with the Microsoft Azure DevOps software development application a plus
  • Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies- maintaining/prioritizing a backlog, etc.
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Must be able to travel as needed for onsite requirements gathering and development meetings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

This is a full-time position preferably located in the Bedford, MA development or West Hills corporate offices, but other remote options will be considered.
