A&E Hand Tools, a business unit of A&E Incorporated and located in Racine, Wisconsin, is a designer and manufacturer of high quality hand tools servicing customer needs worldwide.
Founded in 1932 by the late Daniel M. Lang, this one-man operation has developed into a family of companies that design and manufacture specialty automotive/industrial hand tools for both private-brand customers and our own corporate brand trademarks (Kastar), diagnostic test equipment (Star Products), retaining ring pliers (High Tech) and distributes precision German-made tools (Hazet-NA) and Tool Control Solutions (closed cell foam). Supplying quality products to the professional mechanic or do-it yourselfer marketplace continues to be the bloodline of the business.
