For more than 50 years, A.W. Oakes & Son, Inc. has been providing high quality earthwork construction services. Through the years the company has diversified to meet our customer needs, while maintaining our excellent reputation. Oakes prides itself on customer service which is reflected in that a majority of our business is comprised from repeat customers.
Our equipment fleet is kept up to date which is necessary when a client has a critical time schedule. Our maintenance shop employs well experienced mechanics to keep our fleet in prime condition. Our field people are highly trained, including 40 Hour HAZMAT, Competent Person, MSHA, Landfill Facility Manager, Power Line Safety, CPR and First Aid, and other courses. Oakes is very strong in grade control and has dedicated personnel to ensure an accurate final product. Oakes philosophy is to do it right the first time.
