Our mission at the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin (DSAW) is simple. We are here to provide support to families and individuals with Down syndrome through education, information, and the exchange of ideas and experiences.

Easter Seals Southeast Wisconsin touches the lives of over 10,000 children and adults with disabilities in Southeast Wisconsin. We provide community based services to give individuals with disabilities a more independent life. We connect the children and adults we support to a world of possibilities, so they can live, work and play in the community of their choice. Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin is the largest of more than 170 Goodwill organizations in North America. More than 3,300 Goodwill employees work in over 40 locations throughout 23 counties in southeastern Wisconsin and metropolitan Chicago. Goodwill's mission is to provide work opportunities and skill development for people with barriers to employment. Our objective is to assist program participants in developing or securing work opportunities that fulfill their personal and professional goals, while providing wages and benefits that maintain self-sufficiency.

The mission of GAC is to provide Milwaukee County adults who have experienced mental illness with an array of opportunities that will assist them to experience recovery, to integrate into society via work and education, and to live lives that are vocationally productive and socially satisfying.

Hmong American Friendship Association Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 by Southeast Asian refugees in Milwaukee. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for Hmong and Laotian refugees and the community at large by bridging culture and language barriers and identifying and utilizing resources that meet the needs of low and moderate income residents.

Independence Residences, Inc., was founded in 1984 and incorporated in 1988 under the law of the state of New York. IRI was founded for the purpose of serving adults who have visual impairment, mental retardation, mental illness and emotional disturbances. By authority of its charter and response to the perceived need, IRI concentrated its first efforts on providing residential services.

IndependenceFirst is a non-profit agency directed by, and for the benefit of, persons with disabilities, primarily serving the four county metropolitan Milwaukee area. Our agency mission is to effectively facilitate empowerment of individuals with disabilities through: Education, Advocacy, Independent Living Services, and Coalition Building.
